Happy Birthday, Uncle Sam!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

As I am typing this blog post up, it is now actually just the 3rd of July and not the 4th...YET. It's close though, like another hour and 20 minutes. To be totally honest, I don't get the hype of going to a park or something and wait for fireworks on the 4th of July. Like, that's just a waste of time in my opinion. I could do so much more at home in 3 hours than waiting for fireworks at a park sitting on the damp grassy field for 3 hours.

Well, that was my opinion on 4th of July celebrations. But anyways, I guess we do have to celebrate- even a tiny bit, because the U.S of the A is turning 240 years old in the next day. I guess most of us Americans or people who benefit from America should appreciate James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and their crew or not we wouldn't have the "Freedom of Speech" we have now. (Side note: I'm not patriotic at all. Please don't be mistaken).

But whatever it is, I love history so, I find America's history pretty interesting compared to the history of Malaysia that I was forced to learn when I was still in Malaysia. Like literally, I felt that the Malaysian history that the Board of Education forced us to learn about was pretty biased and stupid. I mean, I'm not a satirist of the Malaysian government or anything (okay, maybe a little) but, seriously? Parameswara is totally a myth. There is no freaking way that a deer and a dog would so happen to be fighting each other, right in front of this guy who got banished from his own motherland. I found that part of History really ridiculous.

I want to say that most history books and textbooks are quite biased towards one thing but, I'm not one to judge as I am not a historian or anything of that kind of stuff, just a lowly high school student who is totally and unhealthily interested in history. But if you do think about it, if the government of a country gets to quite literally write history, don't you think that they would take the advantage and make it seem like history was great for the country?

Enough talk about countries and low key government stuff and on to other things! One thing I need to do in life is to actually post things on my blog and keep schedule. Talking about blogs, my DEAREST friend- Jeffrey Loo, has started his own blog. His blog is probably a total opposite of what my blog is. His blog is centered on his academic and other achievements. I'm not really sure of his motive of the blog but, I'm still trying(?) to be supportive of him. HAHA. I mean if you want to check it out here's the link: www.jlmssite.wordpress.com He told me specifically not to share his blog or anything but, whatever. I will anyways. But just a warning, his blog is only and only about his  achievements. He doesn't do any long posts like I do. It's all just pictures and lists of his achievements and such.

I've known him for...I think 3 years and a little more now(?) and I think we click pretty well as friends. He is my go to person to debate about anything or ask a opinion on a topic. Most people will find him really really like ABSOLUTELY strange when they first meet him but after some time, you would get used to his weirdness and just let it slide. When he told me about his blog for the first time, he told me that I was the topic and I was literally so confused like, why in the world would you make a post about me? Right? Then, he said that I was his guinea pig. But, until now I still don't get it. I don't know if you'll ever read this Jeff, but I'm promoting you to the world. :) So, now I can tell him that he's literally the topic of my post. HAHA. Okay, bye Jeff.

Let's talk about recent interests and such because I totally NEVER talk about them don't I?? HAHA.HA.HA. I'm so funny. JK. If it wasn't obvious already, I've been addicted to the Sims 4 for a really long time and I've spent the last few days downloading so much custom content for my sims its unhealthy (for me and my laptop). I don't know if I've mentioned it before but, downloading custom content for my sims is kind of like online shopping for myself without using actual money. I'm not only addicted to the Sims 4. I've also recently really been into Simcity BuildIt on my iPad.

I've been playing a lot of Simcity but, now I've hit a roadblock and I need more Simoleons to buy more facilities and increase the happiness of the citizens. Haih. I'll survive. I always do. But, I've always been into these things like life simulations(?). I'm trying so hard to make it not sound like its some kind of weird situation like those addictions on "My Strange Addiction" or anything. Another app/game that I've been really really into nowadays is Vain Glory.

I've always played Vain Glory but it's just that recently I've played a lot of it. I actually started playing Vain Glory because when I first moved to the US of the A, I didn't have a laptop because my old one was damaged because I put it on top of a printer, and some lady "DIDN'T FREAKING SEE IT" and dropped my laptop from a height of about 4 feet high. So then, my laptop died, and I didn't have a laptop to play LoL or Dota 2 on for some time. So, my mom got me an iPad for Christmas. I first played Fates Forever on my iPad and my cousin reccommended Vain Glory, so I tried it out and it was amazing. Obviously, compared to the picture of Vain Glory above, there are so many more heroes now and the gameplay is better than what it was when I first started playing when it first came out.
Taka
I wanna say that Taka is my favorite hero in Vain Glory, but there are so many new heroes that I play that are really nice. I prefer Warriors or Assassins to play with. I used to play snipers or long ranges in LoL or Dota 2 like Drow Ranger. I started VG with Ringo, that was a Sniper but then I found myself doing much better with Assassins with stealth and like sudden attacks or Warriors with like really tank-y HPs.
Rona
Rona is definitely my favorite right now. I literally use her in almost all of my matches now. She has a high HP which makes her pretty tank-y and I like tank-y heroes. Obviously, I dont die easily- which is great. And, that's what I've been spending most of my time on for the past like month or so? and also downloading a bunch of music into my devices. A lot of Disney albums. Like right now, I'm listening to Enchanted's Soundtrack and it's making me realize that listening to James Marsden's dramatic-musical like singing voice is pretty cringe-y.

I have downloaded so many full albums in these past few days, it makes me excited for some reason. Like Taylor Swift albums. I've always been a Swiftie. I bought her Speak Now Deluxe version album when it first came out. I treasured it so much. I've not forgotten my dearest k-pop peeps.

What k-pop related things have I been into recently? I've really been into Zion.T. His voice is so unique. Like, it so unique that I love it. I think I have a thing for unique voices because I'm into Kim Feel too. Their voices are pretty unique and I love them.

They're great. I hope that Kim Feel gains more popularity because I think he really deserves it. Zion.T is pretty popular already plus his role as a producer on the super famous reality show SHOW ME THE MONEY 5 which I do watch as well. If you didn't know, SMTM is a series of reality/game/competition shows of rappers kind of fighting each other to win (obvs). I watched the first 4 episodes and I found no more reason to watch because the person I was rooting for got eliminated but, maybe I'll continue watching it again.

I'll end my blog post here for today so, GOODBYE~~
